Treatment

Treatment: The opening minutes of the film will be based on teenage girls want for acceptance played by Stephanie. She is the stereotypical geek in school, with big glasses, awkward conversations, and her head in a book at every waking moment. It’s a typical college love story; the only problem the boy has no idea how she feels and only sees her as a friend. The opening outlines their friendship and her want for more. We see a girl in the opening who we suggest is bullying

Steph. The opening then goes on show how the Steph's character wants to be like her peers. The opening is seen through the eyes of the girl, as she struggles to find a way to tell him how she feels. We see her trying to change her image to match her peers. Hopefully the voiceover that we will include in the opening highlights the girls true personality and her sense of humour. The voiceover will be a reflection of her thoughts as the action takes place and will give the audience an insight into her true personality. It ends with Ryan and Stephanie on the doorstep and leaves it open so that the film could continue on
